SAP is a German multinational software corporation based in Walldorf, Baden-WUrttemberg, that develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. The company is especially know for its ERP software. SAP is the largest non-American software company by revenue, the world's third-largest publicly-traded software by revenue, and the largest German company by market share.

SAP TechEd is the company's more technical conference, aimed at SAP's ecosystem of consultants and software development partners. SAP TechEd has be held annually since 1995.

Project Goal & Initial UX Exploration

During the early design and development process, we need to understand the scope, client's business goal and requirements. Then we started exploring User Experience designs for the virtual event.

Web Experience Goal

Educate and Engage SAP's customers, mainly focus on engineers and programmers and tech consultants
Demonstrate SAP products and services
Networking between SAP executive, business partners and customers
Showcase SAP Partners' products and services
Highlight the 48 hour live broadcast of Channel 1

Find the Problem, Define Users, Explore Solutions

The main challenge for the virtual event is the how to help users navigate and find sessions, The targeted audience for SAP TechEd are mostly engineers and programmers using SAP products and services, the goal of the event is to showcase and communicate with them about the new and existing products and services, and give them a chance to network. The users will also get a chance to see SAP's partners showcasing their product and services.

The event website is launched in multiple phases to working with marketing strategies, which will gradually letting users to familiarize with contents that will be released in the full launch.
